also in the family courts it should be based on factual evidence not hear-say which is what is happening, it is not good enough,
and last but not least alot of us parents would like a public apology from the prime minister and something in place so that the social services can never do this kind of abuse to children and parents ever again.

Baby Peter social workers charged with misconduct
Two social workers at the centre of the Baby Peter case in north London will be charged with misconduct, it has been announced.
A disciplinary hearing will be held for Maria Ward, a social worker allocated to Peter Connelly, and her team manager Gillian Christou, the General Social Care Council (GSCC) said.
A summary released by the GSCC said Ms Christou faces allegations of failure to keep records of supervision meetings up to date, failure to document evidence for a risk management plan and failure to ensure a child protection plan was followed.
Ms Ward faces charges of failure to follow a child protection plan and keep records of visits up to date.
Both cases will be heard in a hearing beginning on Monday May 24, scheduled for four days. A GSCC spokesman said neither woman is obliged to attend.
The GSCC announced it was beginning a formal investigation into the conduct of the two women in November 2008, days after the conviction of three people, including Peter Connelly's mother Tracey Connelly, for causing or allowing his death.
The social workers, who were sacked last year by Haringey Council, were banned from practising for 17 months after the GSCC imposed interim suspension orders in December 2008. But a GSCC independent panel lifted the orders last month.
Peter, who was 17 months old, died in a blood-spattered cot in August 2007 after spending much of his short life being used as a punchbag.
Social workers, police and health professionals failed to save him despite 60 visits over eight months, during which time he suffered more than 50 injuries.
A spokesman for Haringey Council said: "This is a matter for the GSCC."

A number of UK children's charities have released a bleak warning that Britain's social services system can't cope with the country's serious level of child abuse.
According to recent figures, as many as 1.5million youngsters suffer domestic abuse or neglect each year, but only 550,000 are referred to social services.
Out of these cases, just 35,100 are being allocated a social worker by over-worked care departments.
It is claimed that two children each week die through abuse or neglect, but only a handful receive attention.
The new statistics coincide with the launch of a research project by leading children's charities Kids Company and MyGeneration, to prove that abuse can physically damage the brain as well as cause psychological harm.
Campaigner and founder of Kids Company, Camila Batmanghelidjh, says: ‘We've got a social services system that's just not fit for the purpose. It can't cope with the serious level of child abuse in Britain.'
Instead, social departments are being forced to make their own ruthless decisions in order to deal with the load.
‘They're having to create their own thresholds of intervention - say, helping children who are being sexually abused through penetration, but not touching,' continues Batmanghelidjh.

My case cost the COUNCIL TAX PAYER £685,000 and my offspring were taken on "RISK NO HISTORY OF EMOTIONAL HARM". My offspring are worth life itself to me; to the local authority they are worth ten point two million Pounds.

Had a phone call from Colin Scot apparently the social worker had enjoyed her visit to the Rainbow Trust at Fareham and was impressed with the physio workers report of Robert's progress since he started his treatment with them.
This morning as he had been asked by Anne Nagy at Swindon Primary Care Trust that we should not reveal his sons name on our sites. Puzzled by this as the local press in Swindon had a big write up on him about four years telling everyone what a wonderful job the PCT were doing.
I would have thought that instead of spying on our postings about their incompetence that they would find out why for several weeks knowing that the wrong size bags had been provided for RS's suction machine they had done nothing about it, putting is life at risk. Also why is Colin not allowed to drive Robert in his van with PCT carers despite having taken a MIDAS driving course, arranging special insurance to indemnify them and having his vehicle vetted and approved.

It is quite obvious to a great deal of parents that standards and
practices are not up to scratch and in fact a massive overhaul of
‘child services’ is needed, this badly worded suggestion does
nothing to convey a transparent honest service that children and
their families deserve.
The attached FOI suggests that services are far from this standard
and many families are losing their children due to corruption
within the system by incompetent workers whom do not attempt to
address the child’s needs, wishes and feelings.

When adoption breaks down
In the UK an estimated 20% fail, according to those working in the field. This figure is thought to rise to a third with older children. No official figures are available because local authorities and voluntary adoption agencies are not obliged to keep such data.
According to government figures 3,200 children were adopted in 2008. This figure includes overseas adoption and those by step parents. If the estimates are right, 640 of these will breakdown. So why do so many children end up back in care?

I hope that a few more people read my indictment and realise how deep the rabbit hole goes. It's not just a few bad apples spoiling the whole damn bunch, this is STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE. I personally think the general public are blinkered when it comes to what goes on in public law cases. “The FACT THAT CHILD ABUSE HAS BEEN RECLASSIFIED “the fact is , that any family is fair game to this allegation of emotional harm there is no real criteria at all. The general public do not understand this, or the legal consequences that follow this allegation, they certainly would not put up with it.
So as a result of this not understanding what emotional harm is , and not until much later on then the “WORD SIGNIFICANT RISK OF EMOTIONAL HARM IS ADDED TO STATEMENTS” other naive parents are just as likely to fall into the same trap after a practitioner makes the first move by making a referral to social services.
There is a lot of talk about emotional harm ,but nobody knows what it really means or the costs involved when this is used for court, there was a discussion going on about courts ,and also what happened to contact post court on Wikivorce site , I later got run off” Wikivorce” first I was asked not to talk about mothers losing custody and was getting loads of hits blogging about this experience of getting no contact, or very little contact .
Then out of the blue there was a ding dong if you could call it that, as a young barrister pipes up and said,”your case is public case”. I pointed out it started out in private and could end up in criminal court if this continues.
Whether we like it or not the preconception is ” public case law is widely accepted you are guilty of something”. I was mug enough to concede to “emotional harm threshold” they doubled this with neglect at the 11th hour I never saw this one coming, me being done for “neglect”. This is after I originally complained about my son’s care in Addenbrooke’s hospital in 2004 . The web master deleted the comments.
Coming back to the neglect allegation , the courts are quick enough to act on minor false allegations , but not so big they can admit finding of fault . The over all long term interests of my son are not clearly defined ,or the medical histories clear. The experts could not agree at one stage. So how the hell can we have confidence in these private courts ,where an expert can step out of their field of expertise?

The friends I have met support my claim that social services illegally and unlawfully remove happy, healthy children from loving families with no evidence, no proof of facts and no jury. If I am prevented from seeking the evidence and support of my friends I am being denied the right to a fair trial.
The unlawful and illegal actions of the local authority, in removing happy healthy children from their loving families is placing many children at risk of significant harm. It is in the public interest to ensure the safety of our children through ensuring that care proceedings are transparrant and fair.
It is not in the public interest to prevent those who have experience and knowledge of care proceedings from contacting others that require their advice and assistance.
Government funded lawyers are unable to fight for justice in the family courts. The public need access to advice and assistance from those who are not paid by the government and are not making a financial gain through unjust care proceedings, in order to protect their children from significant harm inflicted by their local authorities.
Facebook is a useful tool in networking with other victims of the injustice served by the family courts, raising public awareness and campaigning against the unlawful and illegal infliction of significant harm on the children of families that have become subject to care proceedings.
Care proceedings, when instigated in response to a parent making a complaint about a government service, amounts to torture and degrading treatment for the parents and children involved.

The interim care order had expired after 28 days, whereas it took 4 months to be listed in the Court of Appeal. Therefore it could not be appealed as it had expired.
The judgement was written before the hearing.
The abusive relationship relate to the Tutors on the Marine Studies course at the University of Plymouth using the 'Full force of the university against her' if she ever complained again, which had to be done because the course was sexually discriminatory.
Therefore they went on a campaign to discredit the student as her status of a Trinity House Cadet with a high profile bursary awarded by Sir Robin Knox Johnson and Ellen MacArthur, could cause them bad publicity if they did not do so. She was a first class student and would not have caused herself discredit.
They offered her £20,000 if she agreed to having a disorder and broke confidentiality laws by alleging a disorder to the university medical practice. She did not accept the label.
The medical practice then made the allegation of 'threats to kill' causing the student to be suspended from university and her children to be removed.
The children are healthy and well cared for and should not be targeted for adoption or illegally alienated from her. As the Chief Exec of Cafcass who is supposed to be allowing but is in fact preventing the children's voices being heard in Court, is also chair of Coram one of the largest adoption agencies in the UK it is now in their interest that the children are never returned and the mother is silenced.
The Judge has been complicit in the illegal actions of the Social Services in alienating her from her children for a month without a Court Order.
The mother fully expects this injustice to continue by way of an injunction and penal notice to prevent her speaking about her treatment or contacting her children. If she ever does so she will find herself in prison.
It is unfortunate that there is no justice in the secret family courts and children are taken from their parents with no notice, no evidence and no fair trial. An accused mother is stripped of her human rights as soon as Social Services become involved. This is happening nationwide but an example is being made of this mother.
The mother is being treated like a criminal for standing up for her rights and the rights of her children. The children are the ones who suffer the most.
Now with constant court proceedings and unfair treatment the Mother seeks to achieve justice and if no justice can be offered in the secret family court she seeks justice from the Court of public opinion.

What do Social Workers say "that someone who has been abused, will themselves become abusers", then does that not imply that anyone who has been branded by the Family Courts as being an "abused child", will of course be abusers, meaning that their children will need to be removed by the SS.......And the cycle goes on, and on, and on!
This seems to be the common purpose strategy that is rearing it ugly head in many local authority interventions, were parents are being "tagged" with the problem, just because they were tagged by the court years before, for being an "abused child from abusive parents".
These guys probably fully aware of what their childhood's and unwilling for their child to have a bad start, so why are these parents not being assisted to ensure a good start for this child instead of looking at possible removal!

Care applications continue to rise!
The latest figures for March 2010 are showing a upwards trend in the number of children being taken into care by the Local Authorities, says Family Law Week.
There have been 832 care applications in March. This is highest month ever recorded by CAFCASS, since they started recording these figure's. The 2009-10 figures are up by 34% on the figures for last year (2188 cases), and an increase of 16% on Private Law case's.
This all equates to more profit in the Local Authorities as more children are separated from their parents, and families broken for spurious reason's.
It would be really interesting to see the statistics for the reasons that children have been removed!
Little children like ours (Daisy Hallimond), were removed because of "possible future emotional neglect" which seems to be the norm, replacing just one of the many past used risks, such as "Munchhausen's Syndrome by Proxy".
It would also be interesting to see just how many of these children are re-united with their parents, considering that Local Authority managers such as Mr Simon White of Suffolk County Council's CYPS, are quoting that most families are being re-united. I still have trouble seeing where he gets his figure from, as the statistics from the Courts Services are telling a much more alarming story! Maybe one day the figures will made more public, and maybe they may even match!

The UK government withdrew their embarrassing “Forced Adoption Target’s” April 1st 2008.

Is this meant to reassure the UK public, whose views of Social Services are at rock bottom?
My understanding due to recent media coverage is that our government has recently funded
for our Social Service Departments to receive further training, I believe Coram will provide this
training.
I believe this, as I know of no other organisation that trains already trained to a standard of
acceptance by the Social Work Governing Bodies.
May I state the obvious?
Why are we training already fully trained professional Social Workers that may have already
had a say in our courts regarding our children’s futures?
If they were not trained to the extent that is required due to lack of education, there may
potentially be cases that have been processed wrongly?

Councillor Sheena Williams has still not received her grand children back and for the life of me I cannot see why. I know this person and she is a very loving mother and grandmother and would be more than able to care for the children in question. The only reason I can see for not returning these 4 young chuildren is because they have already been sold.

Dear Madam,
As you are aware our client commenced her pre-birth assessment on Friday 28th May 2010, this was following a meeting Jane had with xxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxon Thursday 27th May 2010.
Our client did feel quite at ease after the meeting with Social Services on Thursday as it was confirmed in this meeting, that it was acknowledged that there were no issues with Jane's parenting ability and they would be willing to work with Jane and support her where necessary/able.
On Friday 28th May, xxxxxxxxx attended our client's property to commence the assessment, however our client was told that she needed to prepare herself for court proceedings in relation to baby. Concerns were raised with regards to Jane's mental health and the fact that the Social Worker felt that as mental health services had not been part of Jane's life for a considerable time was not a reflection on how Jane's mental health was and it was felt by Social Services that Jane was just not asking for help and was concealing the true state of her mental health by not accessing this service.
Our client appreciates that historical events need to be taken into account, but the Social Worker was offered our client's bundle which is before the Court with regards to the inaccuracies previously made by Social Services but the Social Worker refused to take this bundle from our client. Our client feels that all historical issues need to be looked at as this bundle would highlight why our client is so anxious with regards to her unborn baby.
Our client feels that she cannot work with Stafford Social Services as she feels that they have made their decision before properly assessing. However our client would feel able to work with Stafford Social Services if there was a written agreement that baby would not be removed directly following birth. Our client is willing for Social Services involvement with herself and baby. Our client feels that she has been into every institution asked of her last time and it is documented that there was no issue with Jane's actual parenting.
Our client would suggest the following with regards to baby:-
a. Supervision order;
b. Would be willing to have an adult mental health social worker;
c. She has no problem with announced or unannounced visits;
Our client just needs the guarantee that an EPO would not be applied for should our client's health remain balanced as it is now. Our client understands that if she did reach crisis point with regards to baby then obviously things would change.
Our client does hope that the pre-birth assessment can get back on track as she truly does wish to work with Stafford Social Services, she just feels that minds have been made up and baby is going to be removed at birth.
